WARRANTY FOR TERRANCE HILL LOUNGES
(EXCLUSIVE TO EVERYDAY LIVING)
This warranty applies to new Terrance Hill Design’s leather & fabric furniture and is extended only to the consumer who makes the original purchase. Therefore this warranty cannot be transferred. Additionally this warranty applies under conditions of normal household uses and does not apply to defects resulting from negligence, misuse, alterations, accidents or commercial usage.
Cushion – 5 years
Cushions are warranted for five (5) years from the date of original purchase against loss of resilience. The loss of resilience should not be confused with slight softening and flattening that will occur as a result of normal use and aging.
Leather – 5 years
Leather is a normal product and as such each hide will reflect its own individuality. Some variations of shade and tone are to be expected as are nicks, scratches and wrinkles that only occur in genuine leather. Our leather is guaranteed to give satisfactory service for a period of five (5) years. This warrant does not cover damage, improper use or problems resulting from unapproved cleaning methods. Do not expose to direct sun light – leather will fade.
Fabric – 5 years
The warranty on fabric is for a manufacturing fault. This warrant does not cover damage, improper use or problems resulting from unapproved cleaning methods.
Frames and Springs – 10 years
The hardwood/wood products’ frame construction and the eight-way hand-tied tempered coil spring unit support system, webbing system and zig zag system of Terrance Hill Design’s products are warranted against breakage due to defective material or faulty workmanship.
Recliner Mechanisms - 3 years
Sofa Bed Mechanisms - 3 years
Sofa Bed Mattress - 2 years
Service Policy
Should service under this warranty be necessary, the purchaser must contact the store from which goods were purchased and produce proof of purchase (order invoice). It will be determined by our company representative whether repair or exchange will be necessary. The Warranty provided covers replacement or repair of the item, however it does not cover freight both ways and servicing cost incurred when a warranty part is changed.

WARRANTY
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The benefits of this warranty are in addition to any rights and remedies imposed by Australian State and Federal legislation that cannot be excluded.
Warranty
F&BC warrants that, subject to the exclusions and limitations below, the Goods will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the following periods:
(a) furniture products - 12 months from date of purchase;
(b) bedding products and heaters - as indicated on the label.
This warranty is subject to any specific exclusions and limitations supplied with each range of Goods. F&BC will in its discretion, repair or replace any Goods or any defective part of the Goods to remedy any failure due to faulty workmanship or materials under this warranty. The repair or replacement of the Goods is the absolute limit of F&BC's liability to you under this warranty.
Warranty Claims
To make a warranty claim contact F&BC using the contact details below. You must also present your original purchase receipt as proof of purchase to claim under this warranty. You must make the Goods available to F&BC for inspection. You must bear the cost of transport of the Goods to and from F&BC to make the warranty claim, and all insurance of the Goods.
Exclusions
The warranty does not apply:
(a) to damage caused by normal wear and tear;
(b) if you have failed to assemble, use or maintain the Goods in accordance with F&BC's specifications or instructions;
(c) if you have misused, modified or overloaded the Goods; or
(d) if the defect has arisen due to abuse, neglect or accident. Contact Details
